The cabin
was great. I was concerned about privacy, but it was a quiet and very
relaxing area. It was also in a great location and driving distance
from everything! If you are looking for a great cabin, relaxing, and at
a great location and price--this is it. It was my family (me, wife and
2 small children) and my mom. We loved every minute of it. From the
early morning porch rocking with a cup of coffee to the nights of

My
husband and I really enjoyed staying at the Cedar Lodge. The cabin was
beautiful and the view was amazing. The restaurants, attractions and
stores were nearby. The cabin was everything she said it would be. It
was clean and well taken care of. We would recommend this cabin to
family and friends and would love to come back ourself when ever we get

My wife
and I have stayed at cabins for many years at Gatlinburg and had never
stayed in Pigeon Forge. Cedar Lodge was recommended by some friends.
When we arrived we realized that this was going to be a fun weekend.
The cabin was better than described and was by far the cleanest we had
ever stayed in. The view was tremendous. We really didn't want to
leave the cabin but when we did it was so convenient for everything we
wanted to do. Restaurants, grocery, shopping, etc. was very close.
We hope to be a steady customer in the future and would highly recommend
this property to anybody wanting to experience the ultimate cabin stay
in the mountains. Also, thanks to Lynne for being a gracious host and

My
husband and I stayed at the cabin for our anniversary. Everything was
great. The cabin has a good view, beautiful furnishings, comfy beds,
and everything you could ask for. Lynne also allowed us to bring our 2
four-legged babies and they loved it too. Lynne is great to work with
and made us feel so welcome...she even had an "anniversary cake" to
welcome us when we arrived at the cabin. I would highly recommend this

The
Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area is my favorite place to vacation. My
family and I usually come at least 4 times a year ever since first
coming to Gatlinburg on our honeymoon 12 years ago. Cedar Lodge is one
of the nicest cabins we have stayed at. It rained almost the entire
time we were there this last trip, but we had a blast. There were
plenty of things to keep you busy. This trip the kids had to stay home

Our stay at Cedar Lodge was absolutely incredible! The cabin was

After a long drive from
Texas, we were pleasantly surprised and rewarded when arriving at Cedar
Lodge. As prior guests have noted, the website cannot do the views
justice! The cabin was incredible, and the views were breathtaking.
There is so much to do at the cabin itself, it's hard to leave it each
day...but it's great to come home to! We would not hesitate to
recommend this cabin to others...I can't think of a single thing that

We travel from FL to
eastern TN every fall. Lynn's cabin is by far the best we've stayed in.
This property is fabulously decorated and the view is spectacular. Our
four kids wanted to stay at the cabin more than anything else we
suggested! We enjoyed quality family time in the game room playing
pool, air hockey and watching college football on the huge TV! Lynne,
the anniversary cake and follow up CD of the cabin were great personal

STAY HERE!!!! Photographs
simply cannot depict the beauty of this cabin and incredible the views
of the Smoky Mts. Only 20 min from Alum Cave/Mount LeConte (Best
Trails). The jacuzzi felt great after hiking it. Lynne was a very
gracious host. She checked to make sure all of our needs were met. Her
recommendations of the Old Mill and Alamo restaurants were accurate.

Dear Lynne…We truly enjoyed our stay at Cedar Lodge. It is a beautiful,
well-appointed cabin with a spectacular view! So many amenities!
Whether we played a game of pool or watched a DVD on the big screen TV,
relaxed in one of the deck swings or the luxurious hot tub, spent some
quiet time playing a game of Scrabble or cozying up in front of the
fireplace when the evenings became cool, we were thoroughly entertained.
The beds were so comfortable we wanted to take them home with us! It

Cedar Lodge was all we were looking for in a cabin. The view was
breath-taking and it was wonderful to sit and look off of any of the 3
decks any time of the day. The kitchen was like being at home with all
the great utensils - even a griddle for making pancakes!! The cabin is
beautifully furnished and very home-like. We also loved the
neighborhood with access to the pool and playground (which was within
walking distance). I took my dog on walks every morning and he loved
it! I would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing place
to stay that is so close to town although it is in the quiet mountain
setting. We took in all the fun stuff and it didn't take us long to get
where we were going from the location. Lynne was so great to work with
and actually cared about our stay and that we were happy. I have NEVER
been treated so well in the 5 years we have been coming to this area for
vacation. She treated us like family members. Thanks Lynne for your
hospitality and for a great vacation cabin. We hope to come back soon!!

Dear Lynn…Just wanted to say it was a pleasure talking with you and

my brother and his wife and son. I am so happy we ended up at your
cabin. You decorated the cabin very tastefully... There were three
levels and each level was cozy and made you feel like you were home away
from home. This was our first time in the Smokie Mountains and we loved
the amazing views from each level of the porches... Our family loves the
outside swings on the two levels of the cabin. The hot tub was very
relaxing and the upstairs loft area had a wonderful Jacuzzi with view
from the mountains. I would definitely recommend your cabin for a
vacation. There was so much to do. Hiking in the Smoki Mountains,
caverns, and going to the pool and so much more. You’re a lovely person

I would
like to say Cedar Lodge was the perfect cabin to stay at while we were
vacationing in the Smokies. Its view of the mountains was awesome to
see while sitting on any level of the cabin swinging on the porch swing
or sitting at the picnic table enjoying a glass of wine. The kids
enjoyed the indoor activities that the cabin had to offer. Lynn is the
perfect host you could ask for. She made sure our stay & visit at the

Cedar
Lodge was the ultimate vacation place for our family. The morning and
evening views on each porch are breathtaking and peaceful. Our family
loved the pool table and air hockey and all the games provided in the
game room. The location of Cedar Lodge is fabulous. It is

Lynn…Cedar Lodge was the ultimate family vacation. The cabin is so
close to Dollywood and Splash Country, and the kids had endless games
and activities in the cabin. I know that this will be a vacation they

Cedar
Lodge was wonderful! Closely located to all activities, nice amenities,
beautiful cabin. Lynn is wonderful and very attentive to details and to
the needs of her guests. The cabin has everything you need....plenty of
dishes, cookware, even a crockpot, which is great when returning from a
long day at Dollywood and you don't want to cook or go out to eat. Beds
are comfortable, which is super important to me. The huge garden tub
was a hit, as was the hot tub and sauna. The cabin is in a cul-de-sac
and the kids loved playing football right there. We grilled out and

We
visited your cabin over spring break and had the best time! Our family
and another family stayed together at Cedar Lodge. There was so much for
the kids to do with the pool table and air hockey. Not to mention all of
the channels with the Dish Network. We enjoyed being able to hang out in

Lynne…We really enjoyed our recent stay in your
beautiful cabin in the Smokies. Some of my fondest childhood memories
are our vacations in the Smokies. When I look at the view from your
decks, I just take a deep breath and thank God for the magnificent
beauty he gave us. You were so kind to give us credit for this stay due
to our emergency two years ago when we were not able to come to your
cabin at the last minute. I know you didn't have to do that, and it
means so much to do business with someone with that kind of integrity.
This trip, we were celebrating my B-I-L's recent recovery from aneurism
surgery and release by his doctors. This was their first vacation after
all their family had been through. The only real problem with your
cabin is it was so nice, no one ever wanted to leave. My S-I-L said it
was the most relaxing vacation she ever had. If you or any of your
guests would ever like a vacation condo on Panama City Beach, we have
two we would love to share. They are on VRBO and the numbers are 136079

Lynne…Thank you so much for the
special treatment during our hurricane Gustav evacuation. Your
attention to detail was astounding. I grew up "camping in the Smokies"
and told my family when we entered the cabin "now, this is my kind of
camping!" It was hard to believe such a storm was hitting so near home.
Everything was wonderful and the views were spectacular. It was a long
needed relaxation. As you know, I am a Realtor and when you guaranteed
we would be satisfied, I doubted your ability to offer that promise to
the public but you not only met your word but exceeded its ability to
impress everyone. We stay in exclusive condos all along the Gulf Coast
and your resort home is at the top...no pun intended! My 4 year old
grand-daughter loved beating the pants off all of us at air- hockey and
did not want to leave. The location was conveniently located to all
activities. I have sung your praises to all my peers and highly
recommend your cabin to everyone. I have to add, I had mentioned to you
that the only thing with having to wait a little while to check in to
the next cabin that the only thing I would need would be ice AND there
was a bag in the freezer for us. Awesome! Our home was spared but
friends had no power for a week and had to camp out in our home. They
went on and on about feeling like they were in a 5 star hotel, we just
couldn't tell them about our stay! It seemed inappropriate given the
circumstances. I'll tell them later. Thanks again for the speed and
attention you gave our need. We will stay again later and if you ever
need anything in the New Orleans area please don't hesitate to call!

Lynne…I want to let you know what a
wonderful time we had staying at Cedar Lodge last month. It was a
reunion of mothers and daughters, grandparents and grandchildren, sister
with sister, sisters & brother, cousins, and more mothers and
daughters & sons, and aunts with nieces and nephews. THANK YOU, THANK
YOU, THANK YOU for such a beautiful place for all this family bonding to
take place! We were so impressed with the beauty of the cabin and the
beautiful views from the decks. There was something there for everyone
from ages 5 - 77 Yrs. We all had a great time. It was quite exciting
as we entered the resort and had to keep winding our way up and up and
up to that wonderful place where Cedar Lodge was. We were awed by the
beauty of the not so distant mountains and the beauty of all that cedar
in the cabin. We loved the openness and the togetherness of the cabin’s
design. My 5 year old son wanted to just stay and move in. My parents
enjoyed their grandchildren and even shot pool and played air hockey.
The departures were sad as we all left at different days and times; not
only the departures from our loved ones, but the departure from the
cabin, where we all left a little part of ourselves behind in the
memories we made at Cedar Lodge. My 5 year old son told me that each
morning when he woke up, that he would do a countdown in his head before
he opened his eyes, and then open his eyes and hope he was still in the
cabin. And then be really excited to get up. My mom shared with me that
for several days after our return home, when she woke up, she thought
she was still in the cabin. That same experience happened for me as
well. The memory of that cabin was impressed on our minds and our
hearts as well. So THANK YOU from all of my family who stayed at Cedar

I reside
full time in a resort community so my expectations are a bit high. I

We've stayed in many cabins in the Smokies over the years and Cedar

Hey Lynn…Thank you so much for your hospitality and giving our Girl
Scout Troop such a great rate. Your directions to Cedar Lodge were
perfect. Upon driving up, the girls couldn't believe they were going to
be able to stay in such a nice place. I especially enjoyed the a
fantastic view. I ate breakfast out on the deck every morning. It was
nice to be able have everything that you needed available. The washer
and dryer especially came in handy after our day out on the Little
Pigeon River White Water Rafting. The location was convenient to
everything, i.e. the Smokies, Galtlinburg, the outlets and Dollywood.
Of course, the downstairs gameroom was the favorite spot of the girls to
hang out. With a pool table, air hockey, stereo and hot tub, I don't
think they went to bed before midnight the whole stay. I will
definitely recommend your cabins to all of my friends and family and

What was supposed to be
our honeymoon turned out to be the most amazing family vacation we can

to the Parkway....and the paved roads on the way up.....and not many
places have street lights to guide the way up. Starr Crest did a nice
job of planning this area. The only complaint was that the week flew by

WOW!!! I thought the virtual tour was nice, but to see the actual cabin
was so much better!!! Everything was as promised. Cozy furniture,
comfortable beds, a kitchen with everything, a whole room for the kids
to play in and last but definitely not least, the BREATHTAKING VIEW!!!
This was my first trip to the mtns, and now it will be an annual event
at the lodge. Next time I am planning on bringing more of the family.

Dear Lynne…My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Cedar Lodge. The
view was BREATHTAKING. When we arrived and opened the door, my kids ran
everywhere looking around. When they went downstairs and saw the pool
table and air hockey table, I think they lived there all week. Lynne,
it was so nice to sit and enjoy the beautiful view from any of the three
porches. The cabin was very well equipped with anything you would need,
except your food. We go to the beach every year but decided to come to
the Mts this year instead. WE WILL BE BACK

Our
family has stayed in many cabins and condos over the years, and this was
one of the nicest. The furnishings are unsurpassed and the kitchen
included every appliance and gadget needed. The hot tub, pool
table, sauna, TV and electronics were first rate. There were even cards
and games at the cabin for the family to enjoy. The drive to Dollywood
took less than 5 minutes and it only took 8 or so minutes to get to the
parkway. The owner obviously takes great care in setting up this cabin

husband is from
Seymour, TN and we've
taken trips to visit his family many times over the years. We thought
that this year we would bring my family along, too, and be a little more

We have been making
annual trips to Pigeon Forge for many years now, and this was by far the
best cabin experience we've had. The cabin was very well equipped, beds
were comfortable (something you don't always get), and we loved the game
room with sauna. A big selling point for us was the kid's playground
which came in handy. The cabin also was very close to all the action,
but still in the mountains. I also love the fact that you get to deal
directly with the owner instead of a rental company. Thanks Lynne for a

Dear Lynne, I have always seen
these kind of places on the travel channel, but never dreamed I would
ever get the opportunity in my lifetime to stay in one, and what perfect
timing it all happened, MY HONEYMOON!!! It was absolutely
breathtaking!! We enjoyed all the amenities you had to offer such as
the spa, hot tub, and the jacuzzi tub. The beds were very comfortable,
and we also enjoyed playing the game tables as we waited for our steaks
to get done on the grill. When we first got there, I was walking
through and I just kept saying, "Oh my God" I shed some happy tears and
dropped down on the big swing on the porch and took a deep breath of
fresh air. Thanks for your hospitality and the "congratulations cake"

Our recent stay at
Cedar Lodge was wonderful! There is so much to do in the area, we were
busy every day. We enjoyed hiking the Appalachian Trail, visiting the
Cherokee Indian Reservation, seeing bear cubs and their mama as well as
deer and other wild life in Cades Cove, white water rafting in the
Pigeon River, horseback riding in the mountains, riding roller coasters
in Dollywood, and climbing to the 3rd highest point on the east coast
called Clingman’s Dome. With all that activity, it was great to relax
and take in the view on the balcony when we returned to Cedar Lodge each
evening. The boys loved playing pool and air hockey. My mom loved
reading in the rocking chair on the balcony. My husband took in a few
games and movies on the huge TV in the game room. I loved sitting in the
swing bench and taking in the view. The spa was a perfect way to relax
after the hike to Clingman’s Dome. Cedar Lodge has all the amenities of
home. We made pancakes on the griddle each morning, used the grill most
evenings, and enjoyed eating outside on the big picnic table overlooking
the mountains. The bathrooms are modern and clean, the beds were very
comfortable with lots of pillows. Cedar Lodge redefines the term “log

Lynne, the cabin was absolutely fabulous! The furnishings are beautiful
and way above comfortable! The view was so perfect, and we so enjoyed
the balconies/decks, especially early in the AM and in the evening after
mostly long days of touring and hiking. We have stayed in other cabins,

their own driveway, our twin grandbabies said no mommy’s house –

Our stay at Cedar Lodge was
the greatest. We were high on a mountain looking at some of the most
beautiful mountain views and a peak of Pigeon Forge and Sevierville...
yet we were far away from all the hoopla... We so enjoyed all the views
from inside the house and its 3 floors and from the outside on all 3
porches. The pool table and air hockey added a lot of fun. We enjoyed
the hot tub and being able to hear our music out on the porch. Even
though the cabin lists only 2 bedrooms there is plenty of room in the
lower level for the queen sofa, or Lynn also has an air mattress that is
quite convenient and comfortable. There is so much space... lots of
privacy if needed... especially the Jacuzzi with a view in the top
level. We loved hearing the lonesome sound of the Dollywood train as it
made its rounds each day. There are lots of stores to shop in and places
to eat, but we so enjoyed our vacation home and cooked out on the
charcoal grill every night of our 7 except for 2. Breakfast at the Apple
Barn, lunch at the Old Mill, lunch at the Bear Grill in Townsend... it
was all great. If you are a nature lover, be sure to find all the back
roads... there are many... drive into Gatlinburg and check out the
nature loop above which goes into the Smokey Mtns. Also, take in Cades
Cove... we saw lots of deer, beautiful scenery and a bear! The drive out
there is great. Our stay at Cedar Lodge will be a memorable one and if

Cedar Lodge was by far the nicest cabin
that we have ever stayed in the Smoky Mountains. Our children loved the

We stayed at Cedar Lodge
in April and fell in love with the place. It is truly a luxury log
cabin with beautiful furnishings and decor. We had everything we
needed. Our young children loved the hot tub and the air hockey
game. They also liked the playground that is located in the community.
We liked the pool table and large TV's for movies in the evenings.
The view off of each of the three decks is great. Driving to the Smoky
Mountains or local attractions was quick and easy. We have already

We had a wonderful stay
in Cedar Lodge. The cabin was very spacious and extremely well
decorated. It was like a home away from home. We had everything we could
have wanted even snow. This cabin has everything from a cozy fireplace
to a hot tub on the deck. Once you stay here you will never want to stay
in a local hotel. The cabin is conveniently located to all the
attractions in Pigeon Forge and close to Gatlinburg. We skied every day

We had a wonderful stay
at Cedar Lodge. Gatlinburg was so hectic with bumper-to-bumper traffic
and packed streets, and it was such a relief to know that when the day

Thanks for the warm hospitality we received at Cedar Lodge! It was
like staying at a friend's place. Your website was right...the
cabin is beautiful and comfortable. Everyone was impressed with ME

Grandma loved the view from the porch swing. Grandpa liked the
nearby golf course. The girls (ages 2 & 4) enjoyed the swimming
pool and playing house in the sauna (heat off, of course). My
husband and I loved the time away together. We had each been to
the area as children staying in very unmemorable places...Cedar Lodge

We stayed at the Cabin in April 2005. The Cabin exceeded all of our
expectations. I shared the Cabin with another couple. There was more
than enough room for everyone. We had two 17 year old, 6 foot teenagers
with us. They never left the game room. Their friends had to beg them
to come ride go-carts in town. When we returned home we discovered we
had left a movie in the DVD player. The owner had it mailed back to us
